Meet Baby Vince, the newest addition to the G family. I had the joy of photographing his big sister’s newborn session not long ago, and now, I got to capture Vince’s own debut through my lens.

Newborn sessions are a mix of art and challenge. Babies like Vince have their own pace; he was a light sleeper who woke easily. But despite that, we managed to capture his innocence and the joy he brings to his family.

Being a pro means rolling with the unpredictable nature of newborns. That’s why I give my clients choices. Option A might involve cozy swaddling to calm baby down, while Option B lets us catch natural, unposed moments. And for those wide-awake times full of curiosity (Option C), we embrace spontaneity and those bright-eyed wonders.

During Vince’s session, I smoothly switched between these options, going with his flow and creating a set of images that tell the story of his early days with his family. From his tiny fingers curling to the sweet cradle of his parents’ arms, each photo captured a moment of pure love and tenderness.
