The first 7-14 days after a baby's birth are often referred to as the "golden window" for newborn photography. There are several reasons why this timeframe is considered the best for capturing a newborn's essence:
Sleepiness and Flexibility: Newborns are more likely to sleep deeply and remain flexible during the first few days of life. This means that I can gently pose the baby in those adorable, curly positions that we often associate with newborn photos.
Baby's Features: Babies change rapidly in the first few weeks. Their faces start to lose some of that newborn puffiness, and their features become more defined. Capturing these early moments can result in images that showcase the true essence of the baby as they were in their earliest days.
Emotions and Memories: The first days after birth are filled with intense emotions and memories. Parents are in awe of their newborn, and capturing those raw, genuine emotions in photographs is truly special.
