Touch of color {Houston Texas Newborn Photographer}
Hi everyone!
As many of you know, I'm a huge fan of neutral tones in my newborn and maternity photography. I love the timeless and serene vibe that whites, creams, and soft neutrals bring to my sessions. They create a clean, airy backdrop that allows the subjects—whether it's a newborn, maternity, or special moment—to truly shine. But, as much as I adore this light and neutral aesthetic, there are times when I like to introduce a bit of color into my sets.
When I do incorporate color, it’s always in a subtle, deliberate way—staying true to the softness and warmth that my style is known for. It’s a balance between adding just a hint of vibrance while keeping everything cohesive and calming. Whether it’s a soft pastel, a delicate blush, or a muted tone, I carefully choose colors that complement my signature aesthetic and feel like they belong within the overall mood of the session.
In this post, I’m excited to share some examples of how I’ve introduced color into my sets. Each of these photos maintains the light and airy feel I love, while also embracing a touch of warmth or subtle color that adds a new dimension to the images.
Take a look at some of my recent work, and let me know what you think! As always, my goal is to create beautiful, timeless images that you’ll cherish for years to come. Whether it's with soft neutrals or the occasional pop of color, I’m here to capture the beauty of your moments in a way that feels uniquely you.
