Yes, some babies are wide awake during their session. As a Houston Newborn Photographer, I do have some tricks up my sleeve like a nice heated studio, white noise, and swaddling to help newborns fall asleep for the session. Sometimes though I get babies that just worry they are going to miss out on the fun if they give into sleep!
