Favorite Newborn Poses {Houston Newborn Photographer}
Hey y’all! Here’s a guide of some of my favorite newborn poses. As a Houston newborn photographer, posing babies is not easy. You have to be extra careful and always think of baby’s safety first. I do not force the baby to do a newborn pose if he/she is getting uncomfortable or too fussy. I just move on to the next pose to make sure he/she is happy. Some of the poses like the froggy, chin on hands, and the potato pose are composites. I ask dad or mom to help me out with these type of poses by holding the baby’s head and neck to make sure they are always safe. I then put the photos together in Photoshop and takes a lot of technique, knowledge and time to produce/edit 1 photo. Our work does not end after we shoot, newborn photographers have to work on processing & editing. I pick out the best photos from the session and hand edit each one. The process takes 1-2 weeks and I make sure I deliver a gallery flawlessly.
