Prep Guide {Houston Newborn Photographer}

As a Houston newborn photographer, I provide a prep guide for the session to help your newborn session go smoothly. Here are some of the things I ask parents to do to prep for their session:

  1. Eat a hearty breakfast. You will spend 2-3 hours in my home studio so it will be nice that you have eaten before coming to the session. I do provide light snacks and refreshments so If you skipped breakfast it’s all good.

  2. Bring baby’s essentials with you. Diapers, wipes, burp cloth, milk, and a pacifier (even if you do not plan on using it. It helps soothe baby when we do newborn posing especially during transition from 1 pose to another).

  3. Plan your day ahead. Make sure you are on time for baby’s session. GPS the address. Set your alarm.

  4. Plan what you will be wearing to the session. Neutral will always will be on style.

  5. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, I require clients to please wear a mask walking in my home studio and when you are not being photographed. I will also be wearing a mask, shield and gloves during our newborn session. Safety for your family and mine is my #1 priority!
